Interactive Rocket Card with Galaxy Background made with Distress Oxide Inks and MFT's Leaping Slider Dies #TeamTinyKatharineKelly1k Hop

Welcome to Cards by Kendra!  Today I'm super excited to share this Interactive Rocket Father's Day Card that I made for the Katharine Kelly 1k subscribers video hop for the Team Tiny group which is June 28, 2020!  It features a galaxy background made with Distress Oxide inks. It was inspired by a card that Katharine made in her video "We are Go for Launch! Coffee rocket with Galaxy Background" .   The Team Tiny group was founded by Katharine Kelly to help small YouTubers (like me) to grow their channels!   The Katharine Kelly 1k subscriber video hop is hashtag driven. The hashtag that appears in the title for each video can be activated to provide a complete list of this hops' participants. Please take the time to stop at each of the talented participants on the hop, leave a comment at each stop, and please consider subscribing. The more channels you leave comments on, the more chances you have to win from the many prizes available. Some prizes may only be ...

Mermaid Shaker Card Tutorial 7 Kids Crafts Bubble Babies #teamtinyundertheseahop

Hello and Welcome to Cards By Kendra!   It has been a while since I last posted.  I have been crafting, organizing and getting ready to move my craft room from my dining room to an empty bedroom. It's been A LOT of work! But I'm super excited because I'll have a lot more room and places for storage. Today, I'm so excited to participate in my first ever video hop #TeamTinyUnderTheSea with the group "Team Tiny"!  This group was created by Katharine Kelly to help small channels grow AND allow viewers to watch content AD-FREE (because YouTube does not show commercials on small channels).  This group is open to all crafters who create videos on Youtube that have less than 1k subscribers. If you would like to participate, please leave me a comment and I will let you know how to get involved.   When watching videos on Youtube, it is important that you like, comment, subscribe and share our videos so that Youtube will actively promote them.  This hop feat...

Happy Birthday Green Polka Dots Shaker Card

Welcome to another "Cards by Kendra" blog post! I made this quick, fun birthday shaker card for the My Favorite Things Color Challenge #137 I used the green polka dot paper from the Over the Rainbow Paper Pack with a Chocolate cardstock frame on white 110# heavyweight cardstock (cut to A2 size, top fold). The Happy Birthday Circle Die was cut from green cardstock and then I layered it on top of a lighter green cardstock. I had a slightly bigger circle die that I used to cut another frame from the chocolate color cardstock. I used a lemon color cardstock on the backside, which is what shows through the shaker pouch. I filled the shaker pouch with iridescent and gold sequins. I added a matching brown ribbon and a lemon and gold twine bow to finish the card.  I hope you like it!  P lease leave a comment and let me know what you think!  I'd love to read your comments!   Thanks! ~Kendra Morgan Please visit my website  www.cardsbykendra.c...

DIY Lip Balm Gift Tag Pouches for Inexpensive Birthday and Thank You Gifts

I wanted to share these lip balm gift tags that I made a few weeks ago using products from My Favorite Things .  I thought these gift tags would make the perfect inexpensive gift to give to my students on their birthdays.  I also made some to give to the young women at my church on Valentine's Day.  I found several lip balm packs on eBay in candy flavors, so I thought they would love them in these cute little gift tags!!  Keep reading for instructions on how to make your own DIY lip balm pouch gift tags! Valentine's Day Lip Balm Pouches I started out making these lip balm gift tag pouches with 110# heavy-weight white card stock, placing the Sweet Treat tag next to another 3" wide tag that I had in my stash.  I knew I'd be making multiples of these cute little gifts so I was trying to save time.  I placed the lip balm window die 3/4" away from the edge of the Sweet Treat Die while also placing the rip strip in the center of the other stitched tag ...
