Need Toilet Paper? I’ve got you covered! Handmade Card

Welcome to a new "Cards by Kendra" Blog Post! So the past few days, I've been doing some "Corona Virus Crafting" while social distancing!  With this crazy situation that people all over the world are facing, a little humor goes a long way!!  Here’s a couple of cards I made today since a lot of people can’t find toilet paper! Whimsy stamps is offering this cute digital stamp of a dragon covered in toilet paper! I just love their stamps!! This one just made my day!   I might have to try making some tags with it next! Tags would be great to attach to some toilet paper to give as gifts to my friends who can’t find any!! Except maybe I need to wait a little longer to make sure we don't run out first!  🤣 For the background paper on both cards, I used the "Over the Rainbow" Paper Pack from My Favorite Things. The base of the card and the cardstock used for stamping is Neenah Solar White 110# cardstock. The dragons were colored with copi...

Art Impressions “Tan It” Handmade Wobble Card

Welcome to another "Cards by Kendra" blog post! Here’s little humor during these crazy times! I thought I’d use this “Tan It” stamp set from Art Impressions because it accurately describes how I’m feeling right now. We are in the midst of this Corona virus pandemic and we are social distancing. So if I can’t go to the gym, I can at least lay out, right? You just have to turn on the sound!! The song is the best part! It was colored using Copic markers. I’m still learning about shading. I thought these fun and simple cards would be perfect for my friends who are also stuck at home like me!  I hope you like my fun wobble butt cards! Keep reading for instructions! To create the bridge card, you'll need a heavyweight cardstock (I used 110# Neenah Solar White) cut to 8" x 4 1/4".  See instructions below: The first card I made was using the Little Ladybug Host Cling Stamp Set and  Matching Die set from Stampin' Up!   The ladybugs, flower and sentiments were all stamped with  Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black   then coated with  clear embossing powder  and heat set.  I colored the stamped images using Copic markers R29, R35, R24, Y21, N0, YG03, YG17, and Y19.  The grass ...
