I'm excited to be a part of the Team Tiny New Beginnings hop where members of the Team Tiny facebook group are sharing creations with the NEW BEGINNINGS theme - which could be a New Year’s card, a wedding card or a baby card or anything that falls under new beginnings.   Today, I’m sharing this trifold baby card that I made using alcohol inks on glitter paper to create the ombre letters.   The patterned paper is Doodlebug Design’s Bundle of Joy paper pad . The matching cardstock is So Saffron by Stampin' Up. I’m using MFT Stamps Impact alphabet dies .   I cut down a piece of  white glitter paper  to 6”x6”.  On the alcohol ink applicator  add a little bit of alcohol ink blending solution to the felt pad and then add enchanted alcohol pearls ink to it.  Next, apply Lemonade alcohol ink and overlap it with the pink to create a peachy orange color.   Then add the green color Envy ...

Welcome to a new "Cards by Kendra" blog post! My plan for these handmade cards to make separate posts and create tutorial videos didn't exactly go the way I wanted it to.  I had two weeks right after the schools closed due to the corona virus pandemic to get really creative, make some handmade cards and enjoy crafting! But then virtual school started.  I'm a 7th grade math teacher and I was NOT prepared for all the work involved.  I have been working 12 hour days and I'm exhausted!  So I'm doing good just to even make this blog one blog post featuring all the different cards I made for April 2020's Card Swaps for the Facebook Group "Card Swaps for All Seasons".
