Welcome to Cards By Kendra!   It has been a while since I last posted! I'm a teacher and I just switched to a different teaching position in a new school, so I've been moving my classroom. It's been a lot of work because the decorations I had aren't really appropriate for high schoolers, so I've been busy making decor for my new Technology computer lab classroom.  I'm so excited to be teaching Digital Information Technology even though it will have some challenges since we are doing a blended model this school year due to COVID-19. I will have to have virtual meetings while also teaching in person in the classroom at the same time. So I'm not sure how this is going to go. But I'm still excited about the change and look forward to school starting. Welcome to Cards By Kendra!  Today, I’m excited to share a birthday card I created for my Sister-in-law’s 50th birthday.  I am using products from Pink & Main as part of a Facebook challenge in support of their store. Their store in Georgia was broken into. 😠 It unbelievable how crazy the world has gotten lately. The purpose of this challenge is to create a project using their products to celebrate and help support them.  For this card, I used Pink & Main’s Sunflowers stamp set on an ink blended sky background. The “Sorry” dies are also by Pink & Main. I was trying to incorporate these products together since they’re the only Pink & Main items I have. One of the sentiment strips that I already had stamped and cut out said “Sorry to hear you’re getting old” so I was able to use it and combine the products together. I just cut off the word "Sorry" and stuck it under the flower. The stamps were stamped with Ranger Archival Ink and then covered with clear emb...
