Welcome to Cards By Kendra!  

It has been a while since I last posted! I'm a teacher and I just switched to a different teaching position in a new school, so I've been moving my classroom. It's been a lot of work because the decorations I had aren't really appropriate for high schoolers, so I've been busy making decor for my new Technology computer lab classroom.  I'm so excited to be teaching Digital Information Technology even though it will have some challenges since we are doing a blended model this school year due to COVID-19. I will have to have virtual meetings while also teaching in person in the classroom at the same time. So I'm not sure how this is going to go. But I'm still excited about the change and look forward to school starting. Just nervous about being exposed to so many students.  

Today, I'm so excited to participate in the #TeamTinyChristmasInJuly video hop with the group "Team Tiny"! This group was created by Katharine Kelly to help small channels grow AND allow viewers to watch content AD-FREE (because YouTube does not show commercials on small channels). This group is open to all crafters who create videos on Youtube that have less than 1k subscribers. This video hop features the "Snowy Greetings" Digital Stamps from Joy Clair Designs.  These stamps are also available as a regular stamp set.  The background was made using distress oxide inks, a polka dot stencil and chunky texture paste (glitter mixed in) to create a night sky.

I also created a shaker card using these digital stamps (shown on the right in the picture below) that I thought turned out super cute.  I didn't want my video to be super long so I didn't include this in my tutorial video but if you'd like to know how I made it, leave me a comment below!

DIY Lip Balm Gift Tag Pouches for Inexpensive Birthday and Thank You Gifts
