Kendra's Card Challenge #2 - Use Six sheets of 6"x6" Patterned Paper to make 15 cards & win prizes!

Welcome to Cards by Kendra!   It's time for a new quarterly card challenge!!  This contest begins April 1, 2021 and ends June 30, 2021!

Create 15 cards with six sheets of 6"x6" patterned paper using the FREE PDF file which includes cutting templates and 14 card sketches!

Post your card creations on Social Media using the hashtag #KendrasCardChallenge2 and you can enter to win one of 3 amazing prizes - cardmaking supplies, of course!!  For more details, visit the challenge page on my website, cardsbykendra.com!

Here's some of the creations I made using the card sketches so far...

The cards above were made using Pink & Main's Hooray Crafty Courtyard Kit and a few other sentiment dies I've had in my stash- Pink & Main's Happy Birthday Dies and the Thanks die from the Sizzix Everyday Sentiments Die Set.  I used some matching cardstock from Stampin' Up - Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana, So Saffron, Rich Razzleberry for frames and backgrounds. I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and Stampin' Up's Coastal Cabana ink for stamping the images.

This next set of cards, I only used paper cutting templates A through E. These were my "development" cards when I was creating the templates and card sketches. I ended up making a few changes before it was over and ended up adding one more sheet of paper, but I still wanted to share these.  I used the Echo Park All Boy Collection 6"x6" Paper Pad, Echo Park - All Boy Collection - Puffy Stickers and the Chipboard Stickers Accents. I used matching cardstock from Stampin' Up in the following colors:  Cajun Craze, Night of Navy, Real Red, Balmy Blue and Pumpkin Pie.  There are a few stamp sets I used also:  Ranger Ink - Simon Hurley - Clear Photopolymer Stamps - Home Run and Hero Arts Festive Balloons Stamp Set

Visit on my YouTube channel (Cards by Kendra), as this is where the winners will be announced after the contest is over.  Make sure you subscribe and turn on notifications!

Here's a video explaining the challenge, how to enter and how to use the cutting templates. It also includes a closer up view of the cards I created using the card sketches.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of the new card challenge and my card creations!

Valentine's Day Lip Balm Pouches I started out making these lip balm gift tag pouches with 110# heavy-weight white card stock, placing the Sweet Treat tag next to another 3" wide tag that I had in my stash.  I knew I'd be making multiples of these cute little gifts so I was trying to save time.  I placed the lip balm window die 3/4" away from the edge of the Sweet Treat Die while also placing the rip strip in the center of the other stitched tag die to
